HACK YOU!
Si un viajero del tiempo viniera al presente desde los años 60 y caminara por la calle se desilusionaría: los autos todavía van sobre ruedas, la gente no lleva ropa holográfica y las pantallas no son 3D. Sin embargo, lo que este/a visitante del pasado no sabe a primera vista es que cada individuo lleva en su bolsillo un pequeño dispositivo (versión moderna de un teléfono portátil y personal creado en los años 90) que contiene y emite constantemente información sobre cada uno: dónde estamos, qué compramos, que deseamos, con quién nos conectamos, imágenes de nuestras casas, nuestras vacaciones, nuestros hijos. Además, este alter ego digital está entregando esta información a gobiernos y empresas, que la recopilan para influir en su comportamiento como consumidor y ciudadano. Pero lo que más sorprendería al viajero es que los individuos del siglo XXI entregan esta información…. voluntariamente!
Hack you!, a través de una pequeña encuesta, muestra a cada participante cuál es la información que a través de su teléfono celular, ya ha aceptado entregar.
Hack you! fue desarrollada para Disidente, dentro de Perfuch 2017 con la colaboración de Demián Rochwerger.

If a time traveler came to the present from the 60s and walked down the street, he/ she would be disappointed: cars are still on wheels, people do not wear holographic clothing and screens are not 3D. However, what this visitor of the past does not know at first glance, is that each individual carries in his / her pocket a small device (modern version of a portable and personal telephone created in the 90s) that contains and constantly transmits information about each one: where we are, what we buy, what we want, with whom we connect, images of our homes, our vacations, our children. Also, this digital alter ego is delivering this information about to governments and companies, which collect it to influence our behavior as consumers and citizens. But what would most surprise this time traveler is that the citizens of the XXI century deliver this information .... voluntarily!
Hack you !, through a small survey, shows each participant what information they have already agreed to deliver through their personal cell phones.
Hack you! was developed as a performance for Disidente, within Perfuch 2017 with the collaboration of Demián Rochwerger.
